Reprographics Department:

Our pre-press department is equipped with all the latest software and digital imposition and DTP facilities.

  • Heidelberg Suprasetter A52 Thermal Platesetter - Our pre-press facility includes the latest computer-to-plate device from Heidelberg. The Suprasetter A52 is a thermal CTP device with auto loader, also incorporating an intelligent laser diode system, hybrid screening for the best first generation dot reproduction upto 250lpi and ‘processless’ plates providing a truly ‘green’ image to plate.
  
  
  
• DiALTA Di750 Digital Copier / Printer / Scanner
  • The Minolta Di750 is a powerful multifunction system that raises the standard for high-volume production environments. It's a workhorse performer that delivers up to 75 ppm, with superior image quality and powerful finishing options such as 8-position stapling, saddle-stapling, folding, and post-insertion. And the Di750 is specifically designed with a robust duty cycle of 500,000 pages per month, to minimize downtime.

Digital Department:

At Prime we have the latest HP Indigo press technology to bring you the highest quality digital print onto a wide range of substrates.

  • HP Indigo 7000; 7 colour Digital Offset press - Pantone Certified press offering Indicrome on-press spot colour matching & duplex SRA3 printing. Press features include; Up to 7,200 A4 colour pages per hour, stock range – 60gsm to 350gsm (400 microns) and Hi-definition imaging up to 2438 x 2438 HDI.
  • HP Indigo 5000 4 colour Digital Offset press - Featuring colour personalisation and variable data exchange of text + graphics & duplex SRA3 printing.

  • 4 x Dell XPS WORKSTATIONS running various personalisation software and Adobe CS suite of software.

  • DirectSmile Production Server Solution. Consisting of 4 Workstations and 20 Production servers.

Litho Department:

Our offset litho department has the capacity to produce the smallest single colour jobs up to complex multi colour brochures. Our machinery includes:

• Heidelberg Speedmaster SM 52 5 colour with CP 2000 Pre-press interface, Alcolor Dampening, Semi-automatic plate changing, infra red dryer and high pile delivery. Max. sheet size: 520 x 370 mm. Max. press speed 15,000 s.p.h.
  
• Heidelberg Printmaster 46 2 colour press with Numbering & Perforating Max sheet size: 343x451mm.10,000 s.p.h.

Print Finishing Department:

Our in-house print finishing department has all the facilities that you may find in a trade finishing house to provide the complete ‘under one roof’ service.

Our award winning Pageflex web-to-print software enables us offer everything from a business card to a fully personalized multiple page variable data document, direct to press from the web. Our installation includes the following;

• 2 x Pageflex Production Servers for document customization and Web-to-print marketing.
• 2 x Online DirectSmile Production Server Solution (DSMO). Consisting of 16 Production servers.
