At the recent Digital Printer Awards that took place at Café Royal, London, Prime Group was yet again nominated in two award categories.
During the awards ceremony Prime Group took the top prize in the "Calendar" category having impressed the judges with such an innovative and personalised product. Prime Group's personalised calendars set the standard in this category and allow customers to order highly personalised gifts that immediately connect with the recipient as every image and aspect of the calendars can be tailored to include names, addresses, logos and virtually anything the customer requires.
The company went on to achieve the accolade of being "highly commended" by the judges in the category "Innovative Use Of Variable Data" for which Prime Group has created a unique series of personalised Noddy stories in which children (for whom the books are being ordered) can be easily incorporated into the stories resulting in highly individual presents. Not only do the stories feature cartoon versions of the children but their names are also incorporated into every aspect of the stories. The Noddy stories are ordered securely online and Penwizard went to great lengths to ensure that the user interface was intuitive and easy to use given that the gifts would be ordered predominantly by parents and grandparents. The website allows the purchaser to choose the exact physical attributes of the child that is being incorporated into the stories, including eye colour, hair style and colour. The personalised Noddy stories are a result of a very successful collaboration with developer Penwizard and publisher HarperCollins.
