We eliminated marketing administration tasks, centralised all ordering of marketing collateral, created brand and cost controls, whilst facilitating a self-service approach to ordering localised marketing materials.

For over 30 years we’ve been providing marketing communications support to our clients and our Brand Marketing Hub is geared specifically to satisfy the needs of a franchise business.

 

This is how we did it.

Vets4Pets rapid expansion meant that the management of individual practice marketing requests absorbed large amounts of marketing resource. A streamlined, more effective method of managing these requests was needed.

Prime developed a Vets4Pets Brand Marketing Hub appropriately named “Paw Print”!

Stage 1
Prime Group divided all Vets4Pets marketing collateral into two categories; full-service marketing and self-service marketing. 

Self-service marketing allows the practices and central marketing team to order their simple and frequent marketing materials through an on-line platform. 80% Self-service and 20% Full service.

We then created a private branded portal with 80 practice users each with a login that defined what they could see and prepopulates templates for different media, campaigns and markets.

100 media templates were created for various marketing collateral (stationery, merchandise, posters, email, mailers, social images, adverts, etc.) all confirming to brand guidelines and controls.

Stage 3
Digital Asset Management sits at the heart of our Brand Marketing Hub. It allows the practices to keep a firm grip on its brand assets, at the same time delivering easy access to those that need them.

Vets4Pet customers expect integrated communications to be relevant and personal, so we introduced a sophisticated database functionality, which allows franchisees to produce professional-looking, data-driven marketing materials in minutes.

Stage 4
Then everything had to be automated. All marketing activity from concept and creation, through approval, stock control, post, production and fulfilment had to be managed by Brand Marketing Hub.

Stage 5
Onboarding was an essential component of a smooth rollout. We worked closely with the marketing team and the practices to ensure a successful launch. Including face-to-face training and support documentation.

 

 

The results?

The national marketing team was freed up to focus on campaigns and activities that deliver business targets. The practices empowered with the tools and collateral they need for conformant and effective, localised marketing.
